I love you video! Just when I think I have some good things in my kids' stockings I see you video! We don't wrap but they are always in our bedroom and the kids come in there on Christmas morning, sort of a way to keep them from snooping before everyone is awake.

It depends on the year if we wrap or don’t wrap. I love giving more gifts I’m the stockings instead of treats. We do a couple pieces of candy and I keep everything fun.

Love your stocking ideas! I have enjoyed seeing all your gift idea videos. Our family does Santa so he fills each stocking and puts each one beside the gift he brought. It helps too that each kid knows which Santa gift is theirs!

I have the stocking hung on the fireplace but they come down when filled because there’s so much in it! I wrap a couple of thing but most are not wrapped. Some are from us and rest from Santa! Candy and little toys. I did put a babylips in my almost 11 year olds stocking instead of a lipsmackers.

Love these ideas! Typically I don’t wrap them but sometimes I do. But I also do toothbrushes and the stockings over flow so I have to set it out near the tree.

Ha, we do the Life Savers books too! Toothbrushes, bandaids, etc is in our Christmas Eve Bags, along with a blanket, slippers, socks, stuffed animals, pajamas, a book, etc.

I fill their stockings and put them on the couch usually covered by a blanket. 😉 Then once they all come out we do a big reveal. They get to open stockings first thing before breakfast and enjoy playing with the stuff in there while I finish getting the food on the table. We do a lot of similar items that you do as well; bandaids, toothbrushes, dvds, and little toys.

Stockings are my favorite part of holiday gift giving....so much fun to fill. I over-buy as well and generally speaking, my kids and husband get a filled stocking plus a gift bag full of things. I wrap the items in tissue paper.

We do huge stockings we have always have my mom did big ones we have the traditional ones like comb toothbrush life saver books and a favorite cereal then a game. We take the stockings down and place in the couch and the end up with a cushion filled with unwrapped goodies we don’t wrap stockings. They get stockings when they wake up then breakfast and family meals

This year we did something different with stockings. we went to the dollar store and we all picked something out for each member of the family. A nice frugal way with funds being tight and memories made!

We actually open stockings last because I often put gifts in them that go with under the tree gifts and it would ruin the surprise if they opened stockings first. I also have overflowing stockings so everyone gets a gift bag with the overflow items under their stockings on the fireplace! So fun!

I don’t wrap our stocking stuffers. We finally have a fireplace with a mantle so we hang them and they open them on Christmas Day. I have three girls so I usually get them all new hair clips or hair ties, fun socks, then a small toy. This year I got them each a Calico Critter. I also got sucked into the Target Dollar Spot for the first time so they’re getting little scented 3 packs of play dough. I also do a little candy, this year they’re getting tubes of mini m&ms and little mini Lindt chocolate bags I found at Walmart. I got a bunch of homeschool games this year but I wrapped them as family gifts to open on Christmas Eve.

Each kid has a homemade stocking I made them as babies. We hang our stockings by the fireplace. After the kids go to bed I stuff them with their gifts and leave them in front of the fireplace along with their Santa gift. I wrapped 5 or 6 things in each stocking and the rest is unwrapped. They have a lot of the same things and some unique to them items too. I love filling stockings too. I don't wrap the Santa gift, which was something I started with my oldest simply because the things she got from age 1 through 4 didn't need wrapping, so by then it was just our tradition. And when she was 5, and her gift could have been wrapped, her younger siblings had gifts that shouldn't be wrapped.

We don’t wrap them, we use big stockings and they just sit on the floor with their unwrapped “Santa” presents on Christmas morning. We also have a small stocking on their bedroom door that has treats in it that they start opening right when they wake up so it gives us parents a chance to go to the living room.

My husband and I stuff the stockings together on Christmas Eve, and it’s often his first time seeing all the gifts 😆 We’ve wrapped the stocking stuffers a couple of times, but it just creates SO much garbage! Also, our stockings are usually STUFFED, so having them wrapped means less flexibility for each item. LOL So usually we don’t wrap 😁

We do not wrap what goes in the stockings! We also do little themes. This year each kid will get a mini game. Our 9 year old loves Set so we got him this tiny mini version of it. The others got little games also. They get chapstick. Candy of course. And some other things.

Our stockings are pretty simple. Our new baby won't get one this year, but our 8 older kids, ages 2-16, will each get a LEGO minifigure, a Christmas ornament, and a bunch of candy. They also each get one other thing that is different from everyone else. They open them first thing on Christmas morning. After breakfast we go to church, then slowly open presents throughout the rest of the day.

My mom always made stockings a big deal every year as well so they are always my favorite thing to do for my kids! I always just lay them out with all their other gifts filled to the brim with all kinds of different things and everything I get usually does not fit in their stocking just like you said haha. We stuff their stockings the night before they open...so they wake to full stockings. This year I wrapped my kiddos gifts in a different paper for each one and didn't put the names on them...I will put their paper (piece from the wrapper) in the bottom of their stockings so they will find out then which ones are theirs...can't wait to see how that goes...lol

I mentioned this in my comment yesterday but we wrap EVERYTHING! 😍🎄 My hubby and I love to unwrap gifts, no matter how small, so we do the same for our kids. We even wrap the toothbrushes 😉 Their stockings hang from our mantle but when we fill them they are way too heavy so we just put them upright somewhere on our sectional (with the overflow gifts around them). “Barbie Jr”- ha! Sounds like something my husband would say. You were right with Chelsea if it’s the youngest sister. It’s Barbie, Skipper, Stacy and Chelsea. Barbie was my jam growing up and that love has passed down to my daughter ❤️ Half of her Barbies are my old ones from the 80s that I kept in boxes 😆

Stockings for us are found under the tree, we open them first thing Christmas morning and my kids play with them while breakfast is being prepared. We also do a list of 10 items/categories per stocking: use, create, learn, read, eat, wear, listen, watch, visit and play. That way there is a nice balance of things my kids have/can do.

We used to have stockings, but they always overflowed into extra business, so we moved to boxes....we found some cute red ones from IKEA a few years ago with a holiday print. We just save the boxes each year in our attic. They Have held up well and everything seems to fit well.
