I do not understand why the rule V1+V2 = (X1+X2), (Y1+Y2) Does not work? That would get (-1+4), (6+3) since P us the starting position? Why are you starting with Q and why are u using - instead of +?

When u square root the answer it should be to how many decimal places

I would say 3 significant figures. But it ultimately depends on whether the examiner is asking for a certain number of decimal places
