This maybe unpopular and somewhat embarrassing to the white race and uncomfortable but it’s history and should be a constant that we should never get back to

HEBREWS our names were changed and the world knows their deceit. Deuteronomy 28:68 And the LORD shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you. And....Psalm 83:4 They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance. Genesis @ And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years. We started from Abraham, but our father is Jacob (Israel). Genesis 46:6-34 And they took their cattle, and their goods, which they had gotten in the land of Canaan, and came into Egypt, Jacob, and all his seed with him. HEBREWS what else do you need to know?!

Why would I want to show my Kids this? I want to show them their ACTUAL history, the truth of their incredible heritage, not 'that they come from slaves'.

You've already reduced those very real people to a term that further dehumanizes and belittles them. They were hostages. Nothing shameful about it either. We're here because they chose to survive. There's more to their stories, of course, and those parts should be shown as well. But it's a lot of kids in the 2020s that are lost in the sauce and know next to nothing and behave as such.

A "New Vision" of Alex Haley's own, somewhat factual, family genealogy. This is the HISTORY channel, so I'll assume that this will have a scene where ancient astronauts helped Kunte Kinte's people to build the pyramids.

it's supposed to be educational and in reality it was this race. This is not offensive or wrong to make them all black and all that. it is to educate the people of today of what had happened back in the 16 and 17 hundreds!

BuildafixTheSlayer hmmm......well I'll wait & see _how much_ attention they bring to that fact. Just mentioning some unnamed Black slave owner or showing a Black slave owner in one scene out of the entire series doesn't cut it because most people won't pick up on it or they will most likely dismiss it. Now if there is a recurring character that is a Black slave owner - kudos! Why? What's the difference? I'd be able to draw upon that character as an example of history. I'd be able to reference the modern "Roots" as an illustration of reality. I can still remember my great-grandma (1876- 1966 C.E.) tell us kids how great-granddad's father once had a Black slave owner & how _"not all whites can be trusted & some negroes are just as white on the inside"_. conservative-headlines.com/2012/03/americas-first-slave-owner-was-a-black-man/ I'm just sick of the racist BLM narrative.
