A program like this for Emancipation Day (August 1), which is similar to Juneteenth for Caribbean countries, would be so helpful. Researching Caribbean records is a skiĺl all its own, and there is a lot of intersection between African American family research and Caribbean African American family research. Many Black Americans find out that they have one or more ancestors who emigrated from the Caribbean through their genealogical research.
