The original singer is Mignone Ratnam with Jetliners in 1970. Mignone has 2 brothers Jeff and Dan Ratnam both played for Sri Lanka in Rugby football The eldest of Ratnam family was living in Bambalapitiya Flats married to Mr Joseph a close confident of Mr Bernard Soyza the MP for Colombo south

There is No German connection. I wrote this song and recorded it at Lewis Brown Studios A Tony Fernando Recording and it was first on LB EP 09. DINESH has not given me the Credit as The Composer of this Song for which I did all the music as well and performed with The Jetliners Band. This Song is copyrighted with KPM Music 1972 and I am surprised that Dinesh has not observed Copyright in this production. RUPAVAHINI Where is the name credit ? Deshabimani Keerthi Sri Vibushana Mignonne Fernando .
