Beginners would be advised to start with the lighter ropes. I have a 2 kilo rope which I hardly ever use and then in only short bursts since e they'll wear you out. While learning the heavy ropes are harder to control properly and can lead to injury in less experience hands.

What timing. I just pulled my rope out the other day to add to my daily burpee regiment. Mine is 20+ years old and I was thinking about replacing it before it goes boom on me. I'll check them out!

Wow those ropes are expensive! Holy smokes!

They’re pretty expensive if you’re used to steel fitness equipment. But compared to wood they aren’t, it’s a more refined product. But I initially had the same reaction.

Wow. Team SLUSH sent you a FREE rope, then you bought one from WINDING ROPES??????

@@TheFlowingDutchman My apologies. I guess I'm misunderstanding: "I decided to get to the point to BUY a heavier rope FROM WINDING ROPES. Now they contacted me and added two more ropes." (About 1:50)
