It is our duty to learn, research and talk much more about these dark days of our history. Everybody in the world would have known these crimes if we were a Western Country!

I knew a bit about the history from my late dad...but I can't wait to read this book!! Great essay and interview as always! And on top of that giving Ghazaleh the platform to inform us on the whole ordeal was very much appreciated! Thank you ❤

Jamshid was a thug when he ran the Tondar TV channel. He often espoused shocking and extremely vulgar rhetoric. He actively incited violence and encouraged the murder of Iranian authorities from basic conscripts to higher ups. None of this is lost or forgotten by those who know him. Throwing grenades under cars and blowing brains is not resistance it is terrorism.

May 6, 1945 should be registered in the United Nations as "Thanks to Iran." The whole world, especially Europe and America, is indebted to Iran, the Iranian nation, and the Pahlavi dynasty. Despite the thousands of documentaries and movies that were made about the events of World War II, not a single documentary report on the reality of the victory, known as the Bridge of Victory, was prepared. Iran is the bridge of victory for the Allies of World War II. #Iran_Bridge_of_Victory

Jian is amazing. The opening should be produced for shirts on KZbin. There are important segments about the Germans influence in Iran that makes the viewer think Iran was pro nazies. It's a shame. The author thinks of his own benefit. 😢

Please don't forget the crimes of UK & Stalinist Soviet Union in Iran during WWI. Those events in WWI were actually more horrific than the same countries crimes during WWII in Iran.

Now, you should understand when the late king was crowned how much hardship had to go through!!! The English had two separate entry doors to the oil refinery, one for white people one for Iranians!!!! Similar to black people! A tremendous improvement was achieved during his region!!!!

You are wrong sir Reza Shah had to force the law and order in order to stop Islamic law shareha. Reza shah was the first person who brought his family to take the Hejab as he wrote in his book he was in tires to see his family without hejab . in any democracy as USA England France to force the law you should do what is necessary and Reza shah did that

Not defending the Islamic regime by any means but I wonder the process that was described here, the kidnapping, imprisonment and sham trail, the same process as the US supported by the Western nation? How many people were kidnapped by the US forces and put in Guantanamo bay for over 20 years without charges or trail.

It has been proven that Iran remains vulnerable to Israeli aggression as long as it lacks a real and effective defense system. It is vital for Iran's long term security to build such a deterrent system that has shielded other nine nations from outside aggressions.

Good topic to focus on, famine following the 1941 invasion, unfortunately grossly over-dramatised (with silly background muzak), hence all up making the opening spiel mush. Please read and refer to more books rather than screaming on a soapbox. Merci.

I am not an Islamic republic fan, but please the way this lady portray Iran as if Iran is the only country who does these kidnappings etc. Also she is saying west paid Iran for release of prisoners, correction, those money was Iranian money that was held by the west, not that they paid out of their pockets. I am not buying her father was just innocent person who was just taken to Iran, I am sorry.

That’s the problem. Regular Iranians like you keep giving the Islamic republic a pass for major things while you took up pitch forks against the Shah for minor things.

Then educate yourself about her father, learn about what he did and what he the regime claimed he was guilty of. The money that was given to Iran in exchange for the hostages was not to be spent inside of Iran as the Islamic regime announced. knowledge is power and ignorance is bliss. Which side are you on?

He shouldn't be kidnapped and executed without trial regardless. You can't just say it was probably justified if you know nothing.

You start by stating that you're not a fan of the Islamic Republic. That statement by itself automatically disqualifies you from making any further statements on the subject of Iran. Simply put, you are clueless and have no knowledge of the issues relating to Iran

@@Bbto999 You really need to educate yourself. After the embassy incident, the US took a huge amount of confiscated Iranian assets as compensation and paid them to those who were held hostage. The US did not pay Iran any money, but rather received compensation. Your nonsense has led to no one taking you seriously.
