I'm going as Rorschach for halloween and for my school's costume contest. I'm getting one of those moving masks (Not the design you got, I'm getting Version 2 of it. It's much more streamlined and the colour difference between the static ink and the thermochromic ink is almost impossible to notice.) along with some purple gloves leather gloves (If I can. If not, I'll settle for light/dark brown leather.). I could not find Purple pinstripe suit pants for a cheap price so I'm just gonna use my normal suit pants that I use for weddings and other formal gatherings.

Use wire coat hangers for the little flap, not sure how you’d attach them but they’d definitely give you the right shape

Hey dude, just warning you as a heads up, they might not be ok with the ice pick portion of your grappling gun. Idk if they'll have a problem with it, but from experience, they can be ass's about such things. I almost had my wooden Scarecrow needles taken away from the bag check/weapon check people on the way in last year. Otherwise that's super badass though, dude!

Found a trench coat in my attic that looks exactly like his in the before watchmen comic, and a pair of dress shoes at goodwill for like 6 bucks. My mask is like your old one and yes it is hard to see out of but I haven’t been able to find any replacement that looks good. As for the pants I just used some black pants I use for work so they are dirty and smell a bit like grease. The hat I just bought a black fidora from spirt halloween and I hated it and now I got a trilby that looks a bit better.

Perhaps you can try a bit of EVA foam shaped with a heat gun into the S shape. Then spray the foam with Plasidiip and attach it with tape.

Hey man, where do you keep that grapple gun? Like do you just hold it in your hands the entire time you're at the convention, or do you have a strap to hang it on your belt or something?
