Great reaction! Rory is well worth a deep dive, a self taught multi instrumentalist, singer and songwriter, he excelled in a range of styles, electric Blues, acoustic country Blues, Rock, with some jazz and folk influences and a bit of funk here and there. He was all about the music, wasn't interested in showbiz 'celebrity' nonsense and is described by anyone who knew or met him as a 'gentleman', as in 'a gentle man' , quiet and polite offstage, dynamite onstage. You might want to look again at the lyrics of this song though, it's clearly about someone having their heart broken (many of Rory's songs are from the viewpoint of a fictitious character, some are personal, but he never said which ones) "It ain't too funny when you'd rather die, Ain't no pleasure when your girl don't reply, To your lovesick letter, that you wrote in tears..." A few suggestions for future reactions... Thank you for the reaction! Rory was a magician on the guitar and his band was very tight. Rory was equally at home on acoustic guitar (listen to any live version of Pistol Slapper Blues such as kzbin.info/www/bejne/qKmmmYZ8aqyIeJo) or even a mandolin (Goin' to My Hometown with the audience participation kzbin.info/www/bejne/l2Omqot9q5qZe7s). For an electrified rock performance, check out "Do You Read Me?" from the 1979 Rock Goes to College performance. The link to Brian May talking about Rory is kzbin.info/www/bejne/aKmqZaCkopWVeLM.

@@PhiliminizzyReacts Suggest A million miles away, and Bullfrog Blues. Live versions would be best as Rory was essentially a live artist.
