That's our Rory, a fabulous cover. Given Rory was such a prolific songwriter, he really had no need to perform covers. But Rory being Rory, he did the covers as a sign of respect to the original Bluesmen. I'm not sure how correct this is, however I have read that when Rory covered "Messin' with the Kid" and "Bullfrog Blues", so exceptional were his renditions of these covers that he was given the copyright to both songs. No mean feat (if indeed correct). In any case, he certainly composed plenty of incredible music to keep this fan happy. And that's after more than 40 years of enjoying everything Rory ever did. What a guy, to have such a gift yet always kept his feet firmly on the ground. That's the sign of a true musician, in my humble opinion. RIP Rory.
