The Rolex Series returns to the DP World Tour as The Renaissance Club hosts the Genesis Scottish Open. This year is the third time this event has been co-sanctioned with the PGA TOUR as 75 players from both tours will compete. Rory McIlroy returns to defend his title and make his first appearance since his runner-up finish at the U.S. Open. McIlroy the claimed Hero Dubai Desert Classic earlier this year and was victorious in the Wells Fargo Championship on the PGA Tour in May. Since then, he hasn't finished worse than tied 15th, which includes a tied 12th at the US PGA Championship and the solo second finish at Pinehurst. Tommy Fleetwood will also be teeing it up in Scotland. Across his last four starts in this event, the world number 11 has finished in the top ten on three occasions and missed out on victory in a play-off against Aaron Rai in 2020. He also claimed 3T at the Masters and has been no worse than a tie for 26th in his last six starts. Ludvig Åberg is in the field this week. The Swede brilliantly claimed 2T on his Masters debut in April and played well for a 12T finish at the US Open three weeks ago. Others to look out for include Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa and Viktor Hovland.

2nd at the U.S. is a great result. No shame at all. Rory has already won 2 tournaments this year and I could see him winning this week or next AGAIN! A true champion with a champion's heart. Jack Nicholas with 18 majors had 29 2nd place finishes! It helps to keep things in proper perspective.

@@federicorusso4378 The point he is making is Jack finished runner up in more majors than he won(18 wins, 19 runner ups) with that perspective you can see that the GOAT lost more Majors than he won, thats golf lol. The Greats lose majors alot by close margins as they have too be in contention all the time. Everyone else lost in the US Open too but since they werent even close they arent mentioned. Plus having more majors isnt as impressive as winning all 4 which Brooks definitely will never achieve, Rory and Jordan have a chance. If they do get the slam Brooks could win every PGA champ till he retires and wouldn't be considered greater lol If you cant understand that you probably havent been watching this game long enough lol

The ball speed is the same as if it was 7000 feet on a mountain. The initial ball speed on the strike doesn’t change based on elevation. The ball travels further in high elevation because density of the air

It's tough, I know. I remember saying the same thing about Tiger when he first joined the PGA Tour. "Now we're going to see Tiger, as he makes the cut, now we're going to see Tiger as he misses yet another putt to make a top Ten etc..." No, that didn't happen.
