ruled by military government since the 40 well that's false because that didn't come into affect until the 60s with Ayyub Khan like Pakistan didn't come into existence until the late 40s and didn't have a president until mid 50s but general Ayyub Khan was particularly significant like PTI have decided on making he's son a candidate for the presidential post but PTI is a personality cult of IK the Islamist populist Rory says “took over the country and then was toppled" Negates mentioning that Khan met Putin like if Rory met Putin in the current climate he would've been cancelled like Carlson Negates mentioning how Khan discriminated against one of the leading macro economists based off religion Negates mentioning how Khan caused stagnation in The Punjab by having a puppet like Usman Buzdar as the CM of that province or the fact that Khan victim blamed women for being raped or hoisted Turkish propaganda on the nation all of that is collective amnesia

The notion that Imran Khan's removal was solely an internal affair, disconnected from international ties, overlooks the broader context. I believe Khan's challenges to US policies, particularly regarding drone strikes and military involvement in Pakistan's affairs, prompted a response, as the US sought to maintain influence, especially in a nation with nuclear capabilities.
@arunsar789311 ай бұрын
It might not have been solely an internal affair but primarily an internal affair. The "international ties" had very little, if anything at all, to do with his removal.
@hsafootballworld132111 ай бұрын
It was all a drama. It’s true that the Army did not want Imran Khan anymore. But Imran Khan along with US played a master stroke here. He knew no leader has earlier said anything against the US. So by pointing his finger at US and talking against them made Imran look brave in the people’s eyes. He played an emotional game with the foolish Pakistan people. In that way he connected emotionally with the public because the majority of Pakistani public is anti-American. In reality, Imran Khan and US are on the same side. The reason for playing this game: US knew there was no way PTI would have won the elections in 2023 after Imran Khan’s poor performance and the amount of lies/false promises he had made. So by this doing people would turn to Imran Khan’s side again.

Incorrect and biased analysis. Imran was never brought to power by military,in fact the military stole his majority in the last election by stopping RTS system,which suppressed the vote count. Consequently,his candidate who were winning at night,were declared losers in the morning. In total known 35 seats were snatched from him making him open to blackmail by the military,which was designed my the military. The military infiltrated 35 MP’s who were their assets. So when the General decided to pull the rug under khans feet,those assets switched sides and khan was deposed. Khan is now unstoppable. He’s made the ppl aware and educated them. The genie is out of the bottle. The military that was once worshipped by the ppl has now become a taboo. Khan is the most honest leader in the country history and popular than the founder of Pak.

Excellent analysis. However, I’d like to correct Mr. Campbell on one minor error, the majority of people in Pakistan can actually read or write, 40% of the country is illiterate but the rest is literate. How literate is debatable but most of them can at the very least, read and write in Urdu if not their native language. English literacy is scarce, even in normal high schools/secondary schools. I think one thing that they are both missing is that America, EU, and the UK encourage military authoritarian rule. If not, then why do they meet these generals so openly to give the recognition they crave. Just look at the recent general in Pakistan, Asim Munir. He regularly goes on tours in the above countries and is treated like a king maker. Hell, we even train Pakistan's pathetic generals and judges. The above countries have a lot of leverage, particularly in regards to trade and aid, which they just do not use to rein in these despots. What is happening in Pakistan will not be tolerated in a Western country , so why tolerate it in Pakistan. Nothing justifies what is happening in Pakistan, injustice, cruelty, murder, rape, torture of citizens and journalists, blackmail etc forced disappearances,

In the context of Pakistan, when presenting a comparison between two or three entities-be they parties or other relevant actors-it becomes imperative to specify certain metrics. Please delve deeper into the intricacies of Pakistani politics, including its historical context, to enhance the credibility and persuasiveness of your analysis.
