You must be young. You don't have to put down another group to support your favorite group. I was introduced to Kpop by Blackpink. They are the sunbaes that paved the way for the female groups that came after. The wild success of Blackpink alerted the industry that money can be made from girl groups and companies started girl groups. It is the golden age of Kpop girl groups. HYBE didn't have girl groups but with Blackpink making money they started NewJeans. Blackpink paved the way. When I first saw NewJeans I became very, very excited because I thought no Kpop girl group would ever be as successful as Blackpink until I saw NewJeans. NewJeans has it all: visuals, choreography, hit songs and the hilarious personalities. I was excited to see them take over the world and perhaps overtake Blackpink but Bang Si-Hyuk HUGE EGO is willing to destroy NewJeans to punish MHJ. I am heart-broken. BUT to set the record straight they haven't come close to the records set by Blackpink. I don't want to list all their records as a group and as individual soloists. Again, you don't have to put down Blackpink to support NewJeans. My heart is broken to see this incredible group of talented, super charming group disband. Even if by a miracle they don't their team has been destroyed. I wonder what magic these girls could have brought and all you can do is say they're better than Blackpink.We will never know and because of what might have been I am brokenhearted.
