I never doubted rosé for even once. I remember how she was dragged because she didn't release music. People hated her cuz they said she is doing nothing just going to fashion shows. But see girl was taking part in entire process writing composing producing directing. Back to back she was working without any break and here people were criticizing her. I knew rosé loves music and she is smart talented.

@@souumcorvo yes, she said that in her paper magazine and i-d interview that she stays up late at night and read about the hate comments she gets. those comments has gotten to her and she feels like she is not enough for her fans. she feels like we arent seeing her for who she is.she is chronically online (she said that specifically) and that that's why she wrote number one girl

​@@bidyosko I think we have to put this into perspective. When you are deep in certain emotions, you often generalise and have all-or-nothing thinking, despite it is not being factual. That is quite a common cognitive distortion. Even if she said that, she did not mean it like it, it is the way our emotion affects out perceptions of events, e.g., they all forget me, nobody cares about my feeling.

@@tj28308 the context is that the original comment was written as “they all abandoned her,” which is different from “she felt abandoned by her fans” which is what i think you are describing here. The first one sounded like a “claim” of a fact, the second one is an acknowledgment of a feeling. i would hardly call 300 million views as abandonment, but because we were relatively less rabid and the relativity of 300m versus a billion, or because her fans chose to ignore the negative comments rather than rabidly defend her- she felt abandoned. But i hope she sees how we are making up for it now - because she deserves the world!

From what I understand she explained in her interview with ID, she said that this was about the fans and listeners. It's about how she at one point was really obsessed about everything that the internet was talking about her. She was bothered by things that weren't true about her, she wanted people to talk about her as a good person.

Rosé just appeared on Lee Young-ji’s The Seasons Rainbow she performed the following songs: ● APT feat Young-Ji; ● Number One Girl (twice); ● Cover of ‘Because I love you’ by Yu. Jaeha; ● Cover of ‘Too Good to Say Goodbye’ by Bruno Mars. The episode is set to air on the 29th of Nov so we should have a live performance of Number One Girl then. Also when Rosé told Bruno which song she wanted to cover of his he asked her why she didn't pick an easier song. Apparently, Bruno has only ever performed it once. Bruno was a co-writer and co-producer on this song. It seems that Bruno has become a mentor to Rosé. One of The Hooligans referred to Rosé as his protege.

Being an Idol is amazing, and the work the performers put in to become one is mind blowing. That being said, it is it's own thing. Rosé seem to have been able to cast that all aside for her solo performance. She is doing her own thing.
