Alright! In this song, she conveys that she feels inferior-not just in love, but in every context, even with BLACKPINK and her fans. From what I’ve read, fans used to criticize her a lot for her vocal tone and even for how her body looks. She’s a 10/10 and conveys so much with this song. rose was always known to be a great vocalist by fans and idols alike... it was her "star quality" they always picked on and how she was just forgettable. she was the least popular of the group, hence, she cherished her loyal fans so much like Rec. The body comments though are real for sure. first they call her chubby ... and then anorexic. knets are wild. i never liked blackpink .. but i always liked Rosie. IM glad she is coming out with the real Rosie ive always known!! funny how some comments are like "whoa she has such a cute/smart personality" ...

I am soooo proud of this lovely girl! Rose went to a very good school in Melbourne with an incredible depth of talented students. I knew her for all of her high school years. She was a talented student but was not the incredible talent that we see now. She is easily the most successful Canterbury student ever! ROSIE (Rosé album) It is practically all written by her, where she expresses her emotions after being in a very toxic relationship for a little over 2 years, that album is like a diary for her, it talks about the bad comments, what life is like in your 20s, how she feels about herself. It’s interesting that your introduction to her was Apt. so you weren’t expecting this type of song since many of us long time fans of hers had the same reacrion to Apt. 😂 We know and love her for her acoustic covers and more emotional and vulnerable songs like this, and since Bruno thrives in that area too, many of us assumed their collab would be a ballad. I don’t think we were expecting a fun carefree song like Apt. at all so it was a pleasant surprise to see a 2000s pop rock Rosé! This song is so beautiful though and I’m so happy to see her be able to spread her wings creatively like this. I also love her cover of The Only Exception by Paramore (you can find many of her covers in KZbin) and her song “Gone” is more along these lines as well and my personal favorite of hers. She plays guitar and piano and loves to write songs and create music, so we are so happy to see her exploring different genres and looking forward to her album next month 😊
