To understand this song you need to know that she is talking to her young self Roseanne. There are many small clues, one of which you did notice (when she writes Rosé on the mirror and it changes to her real name Roseanne), but there are many more - like she wears a koala t-shirt referencing her childhood in Australia. Rosé has said in interviews how she misses the early days when they were surrounded by music, she absolutely loves music (of all genres as you will discover as you learn more about her).

She's wonderful, this song is so personal, it's her escalation into show business, but you can tell when you see her interaction with people, how humble she is, how close to people, how down-to-earth, she knows that everything what she needs is ON THE GROUND, so she keeps her feet on the ground because she knows that everything that goes up at some point will come down but many are deaf and don't listen to her, I truly love her, Rosé is an angel.

...as you're currently a Rosé bias I want to help you with the multiple names that she goes by, as many people get confused: Okay, so her real English name is Roseanne Park, she was born in New Zealand and moved to Australia at eight years old. Her family and close friends call her "Rosie" for short. When she was signed with YG Entertainment at sixteen years old she was given the stage name Rosé. So now, when they're doing an informal vlog or behind-the-scenes video you'll see the other BLACKPINK members call her "Rosie" as a nickname, but in interviews she is addressed as "Rosé". If you're talking about her as a fan you can use either, but know that "Rosie" is the familiar form of her name. Now, to make it more confusing, she also has a Korean name, which is Park Chaeyoung. When the other members refer to her when speaking Korean they may call her "Chaeyoung", or "Chaeng" for short. "Ship", which is the word that fans use to suggest an imaginary "romantic" relationship, uses the Korean "Chaeyoung", the most popular Rosé "ship" is "ChaeLisa", which is short for Chaeyoung-Lisa. ....and on top of that she's got other nicknames too: ...Fans now love to call her names that end in her signature "é" sound. Love this one, the person that's she's singing about, that she misses every day, is herself, before she became famous. Near the end of the video she visits her old home and meets her past self, who dreams about becoming famous and writes ROSÉ on the mirror, her stage name. The name changes to ROSEANNE, her real name, showing that Roseanne is who she truly is. At the end of the video she is happy that she "found" herself again, she is now grounded in what's really important and can truly ascend to her fame.
