The entire M/V is a metaphor. Rosalía is being introduced by Danny Trejo who calls her La Fama (fame & fortune) and saying that she will pierce your heart (fame can destroy you). She entices The Weeknd and he falls for her charm (he goes after the fame). Just when he thinks that he has conquered Rosalía, La Fama destroys him (the fame was his demise). Enjoyed your reaction tho. And btw, Rosalía is a Spaniard, born just north of Barcelona.

@@ez_duz_it-2021 the lyrics she sings are referring to him and the obsession she felt about fame when she was with him which he noticed too, and his version of the lyrics, I believe he talks about "her" but not literally her, he's like storytelling , like telling the girl about the fame, that it will come and go and leave her with nothing

They are both storytelling but they are acting out the lyrics of "fame" being something that everyone covets and if you get too involved with it, it will destroy you. Even Danny Trejo is describing her in this manner. It's ok if you didn't see it the same way. But the story that they're acting out is done in a way that illustrates her being everyone's object of desire. In the end, she kills him.
