This performance convinced me that Morissette Amon was an Apex elite international caliber Pop singer. In the years since nothing has changed, except that she has grown to be in the top five, MINIMUM EVER. FTR, I am a retired professional music critic with 45+ years of listening to all the legends, LIVE, Whitney, Mariah, Celine, etc. Morissette Amon is as good as any of them.

Morissette Amon is a vocal BEAST and not only that, she is superb songstress and technical singing master. FTR, I am a retired, professional music critic, with 45+ years of experience. I saw many of the great female Pop singers, like Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Regine Vazquez etc, live, at their Apex singing peaks. Morissette is a match for any of them. She has become one of the top 5 to 8 Pop singers of all time (my opinion), since then.

Thanks Rosalie. Morissette's voice control is beyond incredible. Nothing she does is an accident. She uses all manner of different vocal techniques (including her signature squeak) and places them strategically for optimal effect. You are so right about Mori's humility and down-to-earth quality. That is one of the many reasons why we Mowienatics (as her fans are called) love her so much.

...she is so humble and great singer with wide vocal range with plenty of colors....she performs better when it is live... her cover is usually better than the original... she kills most of the cover songs... Watch her performance of Defying Gravity. She recorded it in her home during a live stream with her fans and you really get to see what kind of person she is. She is exactly what you think she is. I've seen videos of her in public and when she didn't know she was on camera and I've never seen her anything but sweet and kind and humble. She genuinely gives the impression of someone who's happy to have the life she has and the talent she has and she's enjoying every minute of it.
