A catchy 80s song about observing people & interactions around us, possible feelings of disconnect and alienation and going through the motion and yet AMK made it sound like a late summer breeze or a carefree walk down the promenade. I love the catchy "da da da" hook many of us know and have heard somewhere/somehow. But the sultry rasp and smooth vocals of these 2, along side the jazz feel and skillful musicians, is just a fun listening experience all around! What do you think?

Thank you for this reaction! AMK are musicians through and through, which is why basically all their Music videos are live recorded. You have done Ausgehen from them already, next could be „Ich geh heut nicht mehr tanzen“ in the „Proben Raum Session“ as those are the most fun when all their friends play together.

Dear Rosalie, you're right, its one of the greatest covers ever and i saw AnnenMayKantereit now a view times live. What an fantastic experience, i loved it. But i'm sad that there are no Reactions to the other band. Giant Rooks deserves more attention. I saw them live to, together with 12000 People and i was hypnothized.

I chose this channel after scrolling past ten previous offerings which all react to the COVER of Tom's Diner which I only knew of as it's original presentation... I chose this channel because my grandmother's name was Rosalie. 😉. I sought this song because tonight I just happened to see 5 mins of the new Dexter tv offering which I don't watch but was too busy to turn from, before I noticed the gray haired guy laying in a hospital bed after a heart attack who happened to be Christian Slater. The same actor I'm watching again in the film UNTAMED HEART which was released more than 30 years ago. It generally revolves around Christian Slater and his HEART condition. Since a key moment involves Slater carrying Marisa Thomei away from a crime scene, I'm forever linked to this movie as that scene takes place a few blocks from MY crime scene which occurred around the same year that film (and The Mighty Ducks) was filmed in my hometown (Mpls, MN). Needless to say my ex gf named her cat Dexter which should've told me we were doomed as I refuse to fall in line with our modern glorification of murder or killing in general. I'm also not a fan of music and movies devoid of originality but that would basically eliminate nearly everything I know of Pop culture in five decades. Anyway Untamed Heart opens with the ORIGINAL Tom's Diner and I just wanted to drop words about actors who appear in projects they've had long-standing connections to. Unfortunately because Art and Life imitate each other quite often then I myself have a tragic connection to...a savage beast named Dexter 😞
