Jeff Chandler's prematurely grey hair was quite popular with the ladies. Sadly, he died in 1961 due to complications from a "routine surgery." He was only 43 years old. This might be the only "Radio Theater" type upload where I've never seen the original film!
√√✓✓√✓√✓ More stuff: I realized it too late! Long after I created the cover-art and uploaded this program, the photograph I used features Chandler with JANE Russell instead of Rosalind Russell. Sorry!

I could have sworn that was Jane Russell in the photo! I was lucky enough to meet her on two separate occasions, as a TV producer. I love Rosalind Russell too, another superb actress - looking forward to this one, thanks so much for the upload!

Yes, indeed . . . The photo for my cover-art is Chandler with Russell. It's from the movie "Foxfire." Just saw it recently.

Your picture is of Jane Russell. Rosalind Russell, who started in films in the 30s (beginning 1934 in Evelyn Prentice) was the lead actress in the 1940 film of Hired Wife.

The uproarious laugh track for some fairly good jokes just ruined this for me. I guess I should just stick with OTR drama, horror, mystery, scifi.
