Wonderful playing, Very expressive. Good piece, many a times, Ysaye's pieces wander too much, especially the violin/orchestra ones. Is the G string tuned one whole step lower?

Yes, in this piece Ysaye asks for the G string to be lowered to F natural.

a very worthy performance of Eugene Isaye.She did well during concours Reine Elisabeth2015. Not to forget that Belgium was kind of a second homeland for this legendary composer and performer also influenced Arthur Grumiaux.

Eugène Ysaye was a Belgian composer/violinist/conductor and one of the greatest of his time. World famous. The listing of his pupils is almost endless, as is the list of the musicians he worked with.
