@alborges849: Al, I wasn't able to catch you during the stream. Is there anything to the notion of "SEC Speed"? I've seen a lot of people saying how Michigan hasn't seen anyone with SEC Speed, implying that SEC teams are in a category of their own to a degree. Having coached in that conference what is your take?
@alborges84910 ай бұрын
Undoubtably, the SEC features teams with more overall speed than the Big 10. That said, there is no overwhelming speed advantage in this matchup. Michigan recruits many of the same players SEC schools want, and get more than their share. That's why Michigan is in the position they are in. If Alabama is faster, the disparity is not so great it can't be overcome with a good plan and solid execution.

Honest question. WHO's defense is better? Alabama vs ohio state? and Iowa vs Alabama? Even though Iowas offense sucks. They are a very hard team to score on because of their Blitz, and zones and man schemes.

Watching prior games, Alabama seems vulnerable to the reverse or hand off and pass back to QB. Seems like bama sells out to one side so a pass to a TE on the opposite side would be wildly successful at least once or twice.

Unfortunately, the playoffs have been the Nick Saban invitational. The Sec has dominated the playoffs winning 7 out of 10 championships. Only Clemson x2 & OSU interrupted the SEC dominance. Pains me to say this, but the SEC got in because of the Inheritance factor. Historical dominance helped them. Sadly, FSU

Just came back here to recognize all the cowardly elephants who were talking that elephant dung and left the rose bowl celebration early to come back and delete their comments. It's ok, ill put them back up. Top contenders "Bama finna expose y'all." "Yall paper tigers. "bama finna beat that ass!". It was a pleasure stomping on all the discarded alabama pom poms as we exit the rose bowl stadium tonight... And shopping for Michigan gear on the way out to no avail... Yet there were stockpiles of leftover Alabama merch. In fact, scarves and beanies could be had for free if you simply searched through the trash piles left on the stands... The empty bama section being used to escort Michigan fans closer to the players was the result of all those bold, brave words you were so CERTAIN in. Michigan beat the elephants even with making several mistakes. Guys, we gave you the game and you couldn't take it... Keep talkin that elephant dung, its fuel for our fire. It fueled my fire as a fan screaming myself hoarse all game long. Go BLUE!

If Michigan can hold Milroe to a total that he hasn’t been held to all season, then hats off to them. No one has held him below 24, and with a month to prepare, I can not imagine Michigan will do better. The offensive struggles will come from Michigan. 17-10 at the half, and then Bama big. 37-17. Roll Tide 🫡
@brentthebloodhound10 ай бұрын
If either team has offensive struggles the other team will win. Thats for Michigan or Alabama. Its going to come down to execution. Remember 2020 game? Michigan was outmatched by talent. Michigan was in that game 3 quarters. but after 5 punts, and 2 int. Alabama pulled away. This is not a gap in talent. Its all about who can create problems on defense. its going to be a really good game.

I hope you ain't betting on the game. We'll see. Michigan has not put a lot of stuff on film. Edwards torn patella and broken hand but still played the rest of the year. J.J. 100% now. So, they have Corum, Edwards, and J.J. to deal with. They might throw to the Don and let him do his thing. Also, if I'm not mistaken J.J. has a completion percentage of 90% when throwing on the run.

Let's not be pretentious here Webb. You're in contradiction here. You say you didn't need to steal and cheat to beat all these lesser tams. Well if you didn't NEED to do it then why did you do it? You didn't cheat just for the fun of it. You cheated to get an advantage because you lacked the confidence to believe you could succeed unless you cheated. That is as plane and simple as a adding 2 plus 2. That's like saying you had a rent payment due on the today but you took the money out of your account to pay it but you really didn't need to even though you would have ended up on the street had you not. You took the money out of your account because you NEEDED to pay your rent. If you really thought Michigan was all that you never would have cheated. And then you try to talk like some lawyer whose muddying the waters with this mumble jumble about levels. Dude, you guys cheated at the highest level to the point the FBI got involved. WHat?! Come on now what are talking about. Let's not try parsing words or splitting hairs to minimize what you guys did. You cheated. If Ohio State had did this to Michigan you guys would be crying and screaming like world peace depended on what took place. You're trying to slick slide your way pass by trying to act cocky to the point you think the public will buy the fact you played so-called lesser teams and therefore needed no help. Then again, why did you do it? See this is the corner you back yourself into when you try that response. because cheating is self evident. You don't need to be a Ph.D. to know that. people cheat because they don't believe they can win fare and square. So this argument about not needing to do it to beat all those other bums falls out under the bottom like a leaky ship that hit and ice berg. It goes DOWN. You can't have it both ways. Just admit you did it because you was scared you'd lose if you didn't. That is a FACT. That is the sole reason for cheating. No different than if you cheated on your final exam because you didn't study enough to pass. You are never going to convince the pubic that you're objective because you hail from Michigan. You are always going to approach this with a bias just like Ohio State is going to talk with their own bias. That is a fact. Stop pretending you are. There is no such thing. You're biased and compromised. That s why there are investigations because people like you who are supporters of Michigan would sweep this under the rug. Only when it happens to you guys you want to talk about fare play and moral conduct and honest sportsmanship. Being condescending and tyring reverse psychology is not going to work. You guys made your beds and got caught and now you're going on the Finbaum show and everywhere else trying to spin it into poor Michigan as the victims. To me, nothing could be more cowardice. A MAN, or MEN own up to when they have made a mistake and got caught. They apologize, even if they don't mean it, and then they move on and promise never to do it again. And they take all the crap that comes with their mistake. That is life. You guys are taking the child's approach. Where they think they should be allowed to think and talk like they did absolutely nothing wrong. And I can see why so many young men turn out from college end up being a mess after football because they have spent 4 years around so-called men who are supposed to teach them the value in honesty and dignity. And you all at Michigan made a laughing stock out of the school because of a bunch of football games. What a horrible life lesson Michigan has displayed. I wouldn't want Harbaugh to be over my son if he were playing football because he will leave there thiunkiong being crooked is how you should mover in life from now on. Because since they did it in school its ok to do it in life and business. Until they get caught and end up in prison for something much more punishable. Crooked behavior learned in football always carries over in real life. And you guys at Michigan who approve of this are the first ones to run and hide when these young men do something tragic that cost them their freedom. If you had done what harbaugh did NCAA would have had you arrested and fired you on the spot. He gets a pass because he has the privilege of having white skin. Let's not forget that either. However, if you feel Michigan is all that than leave the Big Ten and go on over to the SEC. Where you can play the Georgia's, Tennessee, Alabamas, Auburns, and more. This way you have a top 5 or 10 team every week to play and those easy perfect seasons are harder to do. Let Michigan put their money where their mouth is. Go to the school board execs and tell them they want out of the Big Ten and into the SEC. This way they never have to play the losers like Ohio and Penn State. If you are willing to push this I would be glad to hear it on your podcast. You claim Michigan are such big dogs. Ok then go on into where the big dog conference. But I expect you guys would get sick on the stomach if they actually made such a move. And the fact that you have to cheat here in the lowly big ten proves why.
