I had no idea Rose Cousins wasn’t that popular, looks like I’m gonna have to start sharing her music more. Her voice sends chills down my spine. Probably one of my favorite voices of all time. I sing myself, and the emotion she puts into her voice is beyond my capability. I can usually sing a song to myself, but not Rose Cousins music. Only she can do what she does. I feel blessed to have run across her music, it’s made discovering myself and the world around me a little easier, knowing someone out there feels the same way I do. It’s like a hug. Irreplaceable. Beautiful. Haunting. Thank you Rose Cousins.

I told you once how your song Grace changed me and so does this one. I know it's about connecting with our inner child to find peace, but for me it means so much more. Since my son passed, my first love, I haven't slept in 4 years. The last scene has me crying when only until her young self, her child connected back with her could she find that peace. I feel the same as a woman who has changed after my loss, trying to find myself without my child. This song is stunningly beautiful.

Saw Rose open for Mary Chapin Carpenter on my 50th birthday almost 7 years ago. I was a fan immediately. What a beautiful voice. She is amazing.

The day is gone, you played it wrong You're the only one who knows So close the light, call the fight Pull your mind back inside You're just tired [Pre-Chorus] It's hard to see, hard to believe Our body brings us all we need Let it go, let go to sleep [Chorus] My oldest love You're the only one Who feels it all [Verse 2] We walk around, all hallowed out And fill our cups with fear and doubt Oh ghosts of sleep, wash me clean And show me what I ought to keep And what must leave Oh, set me free [Chorus] My oldest love You're the only one Who feels it all

'Discovered' you this morning. Many songs later and just finished watching you host the songwriters' circle (loved the conversation as well as the songs). You have touched my heart with your beautiful songs and voice which gives a glimpse into a beautiful soul.

I have heard this beautiful song by you, but had not seen the video before. I kept wondering where it was filmed, not PEI, Not N.S., maybe Ireland? And then I saw in the credits near Cornerbrook, Newfoundland. Of course! I still haven't made it there, but now I must. Amazing video. thanks!
