Heartland is responsible for me hearing this song. It is so beautiful! It had me meditating on the Grace, God has extended to me. Thank You Jesus Christ for "Grace!" 😢 🙌🏽

Lovely. I need to hear this today. My father is on his death bed, over a thousand miles away, and I cannot be there before or after he passes. He was not a good father to me, but he was the father I had. It's a very emotional time.

I understand and I am so sorry that your dad wasn’t what he should have been. Ugh! I once asked a friend for 50 bucks. He said “I don’t 50, I only have 20”. I took it, even though I needed more, because it was “all” he had to give. Sometimes parents are like that too. They give all they have but isn’t all we need. Then, somewhere, out of the blue, a person comes along, who is able to backfill and give us all that our parents couldn’t. It’s called grace.

I came to Rose's original after first falling in love with Lizz's take. It was a surprise to hear Rose play it and talk about how she came to write the song at a Patty Griffin concert where Rose was the opening act. What an amazing song from an extremely talented artist. I hope that she either tours in the US again soon, or that I finally make it up to Canada.

Great song & moving. Like most of the people here, Heartland and graveyard scene is what brought me here. This video here though, doesn't have the dramatic effect as the scene in the show, at least for me. Another song that had more of a dramatic effect on a show instead of the official music video was Coldplay Paradise in A Gifted Man episode 9 when young lady dies in an ambulance on the way to the hospital. Seems the official video doesn't fit the creative theme of the song and winds up being more of a let down in some cases(the video, not the song itself).
