Thank you for sharing your beautiful roses. From the milky colour on the roses’ leaves, it looks like you use a spray. Is it a natural one and, if so, what do you use and how often do you apply it? I started using a natural spray on my black spot and downy mildew affected roses in May, however, unfortunately, it doesn’t seem very effective. It can only be used at 7-10 day interval and for a maximum of 6 applications.

Thank you for your reply. I have been using fungus clear ultra 2 spray, which contains sulphur. As I started spraying in May, the roses have only had three applications so far. I have not noticed any discernible difference in the black spot. Reading up on the lime sulphur, I note that it is best used in winter, after the roses have been pruned. I will try that next year. Hope the lime sulphur is working for you!

@@MargaretSwift-l2c I read the lime sulpher label which describes it can be used regularly even in summer so far it's working great, but I have noticed whatever you do you can get rid of black spot 100%

Thank you for your reply. I am pleased it is working for you. I will give it a try, if the spray I’m using doesn’t work effectively enough. Although, I have just noticed today that my affected roses are much improved so, perhaps, they needed a few applications to notice a difference.
