rose inc tinted serum review + application tips (shades 20 and 30)

Reviewing the Rose Inc Skin Enhance Luminous Tinted Serum today, comparing shades 20 and 30 with a quick wear test! I have combination skin with acne scars and the occasional dry patch, so I'll share how it wears on my skin and tips I have for a smooth application.

Agreed. I have mature, dry skin. I went into Sephora with a nicely moisturized face, put on Rose and it was like putting on a sponge; took away all the moisture and left my skin dry. Was not fond of the look, either. What I love is Trinny London BFF Cream - but it’s ridiculously expensive and they have no sales. Another two I like is the tinted moisturizer from Luxury by Sophia and Lenora Mineral Tint. Both great for dry skin. They both just melt into the skin and look very natural and soft.

Thank you for such a in-depth review of this product! I wondered just how glowy this face tint would be after dry down, & this video helped a lot. Not sure if you'll see this, as you posted this video 9 months ago, but the Rose Inc Solar Power Luminous SPF Serum is one of the best overall facial SPFs I've ever used, & it might work better with their Tinted Serum. As someone who also has some dry spots on my face, I cannot recommend their SPF Serum enough. It's lightweight, & it does not feel like any SPF I've used before, more like just really nice skincare. I use it before I apply the Summer Fridays Sheer Skin Tint, & they compliment each other so well, it's like they were made for each other. ❤

So I actually have been using the sample I got of this product from a sephora purchase. I put it directly on my face and then I tap it with my fingers to break up the beads and blend it a little, then I kinda swipe it over my face and that seems to work pretty well. You seem to have gotten more coverage from it than I did, but I enjoy medium to light coverage (: looks great on you btw, I love the idea of mixing the 2 shades for that custom look!

I really like the SKIN1004 water serum sunscreen under this one! It’s moisturizing, but not too dewy. If Korean products are not as accessible, I also enjoy the La Roche Posay Anthelios ultra fluid. I wonder if the Cerave ultra light moisturizer spf30 might work too - haven’t tried that one yet but I’m intrigued :)

Is it similar to saie beauty glowy super gel?

Quite different! The rose inc is a light coverage skin tint/foundation, and the saie is more of a gel highlighter with no coverage! The rose inc doesn’t have any shimmers in it as far as I can tell on my skin ☺️
