I loved iZombie, but I think it ended because it finished it's story. They said got to the zombie apocalypse within a few seasons because they didn't want to drag it out. To me it felt like the whole series was that way, they went at the pace they needed to go out and finished without artificially extending it.

Exactly. I really liked the characters and normally I wouldn't mind a movie to see where there were now, but they did that in the series. The finale was basically an in world "Where are they now?" TV special.

@@Qurisx All the "new" things about Zombies in this are just ripped off of vampires. The Super Strength, Beast mode, slow heart beat, red eyes when angry, gaining memories and attributes of victims, it's all lifted from Vampire lore.

@alphanerd7221 its not at all really new though. Theres a lot of old lore that give zombies enhanced abilities. Its not necessarily part of a 'Vampire' effect. Its the lore of Dead Strength. Its the myth of, if these things are dead, they now have different abilities attributed to not having the weakness of dying. Can they all be compared? Sure. Werewolves, phantoms, or undead spiritual related monsters alike.

Can't recall which episode of Izombie it was, but there was one episode where she went on an undercover mission pretending to be someone from down under. She was using her normal voice in that scene.

iZombie was a great show, the writing was terrific, and the cast was perfect, unfortunately the ratings, like she said, weren't where the networks wanted, so the number of episodes they got each season seemed to fluctuate. Then the ending felt really rushed once they knew they had to wrap it up. At least we got an ending as opposed to some other shows that left on a tease or a cliffhanger to never be resolved.

iZombie was so much fun to watch. She playing a different character on every episode was brilliantly done, it reminds me of my favorite TV show ever "Quantum Leap" where Scott Bakula had to basically play a different character on every show. Would be cool having a few new episodes of iZombie

iZombie was a fun show. The each brain gives Liv a different personality gimmick was unique. Not your typical Cop/Zombie show. And she was such a “Food’y” about how she ate brains. And the whole cast were all too pretty. Loved it.

IZombie was great. I basically binged the whole series. Dang though, I had no idea that Rose was from New Zealand. The American accent must be super easy because I'm constantly duped by British/Ausie/Kiwi actors. Never would have guessed she wasn't American. Well done.

She's been doing an American accent since she was a kid. She was in one of the Hercules movies that filmed in New Zealand and played his daughter in a few episodes all around about the age of 4 or 5, though because she was so young didn't have much to say. Then a few years later she appeared in an episode of Xena, as a young girl named Daphne. In that she had to switch between Daphne and Xena, because Aphrodite put Xena in her body after Xena commented about trading places with Daphne who was in a coma at the time. You should watch it sometime. It's episode 8 of season 5, Little Problems.

the first roles i ever saw her play were back on disney channel and jetix, and with no knowledge of the comic series, she was 100% why i tuned into izombie. i recently went back and watch the show through to the end and i really don’t think it needs a continuation, even though i’d loved to see the characters all together again😭

I was glad, as much as I loved it, that Izombie didn't last more than it did. It was wonderful, and it didn't deserve to be ruined like too many other shows that went on even when the writers ran out of ideas (like another show with zombies, for example... *cough cough*). That said, I'm not surprised she would love to do it again, it was a great show and the chemistry between the whole cast was amazing too (in fact, I would LOVE to see them all together even on a completely different show, they were just so perfect together).

People don’t seemed to realized that CW has a specific target audience and I hate to say it but once people get older their interest change. The show was perfect for 5 season on network tv (let’s not forget most shows don’t survive 3 seasons) for a CW show I think it was perfectly set up, great storyline and it was made in the perfect time (before covid and the political times that we have now). I’m glad to have watch this show on CW and reruns on Netflix.

I tried watching this when it came out. I don't recall a great deal about it except the thing I made sure to remember regarding why I stopped: They had the shot - knew what it meant - and still passed it up. I can't remember the context or much else from that moment, but at that point I was done with the series. You need to build up a lot more brownie points from the audience before you disrespect it like that. I'll leave THAT stuff for people too young to yet recognize lazy writing. A few more times around the block and those kids will know what I'm talking about.

I loved the show but it's annoying that the last two seasons were never released on DVD in Canada. I saw the entire series as it was on Netflix but I can't own all of it,at least not yet.I have met Rose twice and she's great.Her new show Ghost is funny,and it just had an episode having her husband become a zombie,and she says I hate zombies, obviously an inside joke to her previous series. She's a great actress.

The real issue is we don't know if her character survived because the ending felt like a dream sequence was liv trapped in that morgue similar to the first episode where she saw a zombie who stopped eating they became feral.. Or maybe she really did get out of that morgue and her and major were happy together that he really didn't get shot.. I personally hated the ending felt kinda of lazy.

iZombie was incredible for the first couple of seasons, but went downhill once "everyone" knew she was a zombie, and I had the HUGEST crush on Rose in that role, somehow I found her more attractive as Liv than in normal makeup 🤷

iZombie was a fun show except for the fact that it always bothered me that it had almost nothing to do with the comic it was adapted from, which I'd been reading for years before the show came out. I was so excited to see the books adapted, but they are so WILDLY different, to the point where it's like why bother even saying you adapted it? They had nothing in common beyond a main character who was a zombie that had to eat brains to appear normal. The main characters don't share a name or job; Liv is a Medical Examiner, Gwen is a gravedigger. The show is solely about zombies, while the comic delves into zombies, ghosts, vampires, werewolves, etc.
