I know you felt like it was a strange thing to think of Rose when you saw these Chinese products but, it actually makes perfect sense! Chinese and Japanese-inspired styles were very trendy in the 1910s when "Titanic" is set and that is definitely reflected in some of Rose's clothing and room decorations (that's why she wears that a beautiful kimono-style robe right before Jack draws her portrait). I'm sure that's why seeing this very glamorous Chinese fan palette made you think of Rose even if you weren't consciously aware why at the time (i.e. it's very much in keeping with Rose's personal taste). And yes, please do another "Pride and Prejudice" look!! 😍
