Erwin lives thanks to Levi. He can't stop thinking about him as we was the only person who knew the real, human Erwin. And as Erwin was Levi's most important person. PS: the new Guidebook is out and it keeps showing Erwin and Levi are each other's most important person, since it says Levi has been obsessed with his vow to Erwin that has been in his heart for more than 4 years, and that Levi is the one regaining Erwin's humanity. I love their deep bond!

I just realized that Levi and Hanji are the only veterans alive in season 4. They survived the longest in the Survey Corps. I bet you anything Hanji is the closest to Levi. But (SPOILERS) when Hanji's death gets animated, Levi will be the only veteran alive. That hurts a lot. He lost his only best friend who had been alive for such long times.
