- How to get over someone you haven't officially dated? - Yours is actually the best advice. The moment I blocked them on every platform even their phone numbers, I felt free. The stress is on blocking not just deleting, 'cause on Facebook you can still check them from time to time - and you will-, which is quite bad for your health. I also blocked their very good friends/partners who they have photos together with etc., because I was so obsessed that I checked them, too. Be strong.

I actually didn't study for my GCSE's (tbf, we were only required to take 3 at my school though, so I took an extra language for 4 with no particular stress) and I did reasonably well, and got basically the grades I was expecting, which was fine, because let's be real, you only need them to get into college, as going straight into work is no longer an option. Looking back though, even though it hasn't directly affected my life, I do regret not trying harder, and properly studying at the time, because it affects how I think about and see myself. On the one hand, it's just good to know you tried your hardest, and gave your all to achieve something, and on the other, because I barely studied and only ever did a little more than half my homework at school I failed to develop any kind of proper work ethic, which really hurts now. So just studying for studying's sake would have been good, because I have no self discipline. Also, I just genuinely love learning stuff, and I wish I'd just soaked up everything available to me when I had the chance, because I know I had some really great teachers, and even if the required level for foreign language GCSEs is entirely uninspiring and frankly rather laughable, I know they would have been both willing and able to expand my knowledge as far as I could possibly manage. (For those who might be wondering how I was possibly allowed to be released into the real world without the standard minimum of five exams; no I am not stupid, feral or under-educated, I attended an alternative school that summed up basically all of its subjects in two international qualifications, which no one has ever heard of: the EPC and the SSC (no not the Scottish one) - the European Portfolio Certificate (EU), and the Steiner School Certificate (NZ), which cover everything from English to Eurythmy (look it up))
