That "cadmium" red looks like the crimson in the Chinese Winsor and Newton that you did a video on.

these cheap things I think hooked me on art as a kid though. We had paint by numbers with oils in the 60s. The scent of the paint, ability to make an image as a child..was inspiring to me. So I suppose they serve a purpose. Even if one in 100,000 are inspired by it, others have jobs making it, so..

I agree. As Cally points out, these paints aren't that bad, and if a kid has talent and desire then these would be perfect to start them off painting.

It's amazing that RoseArt had oil paints, but Crayola doesn't.
