Well done Old Soul Millennial. First, your name is awesome. Second, thank you for the awesome review and install. I disagree with Roadglide, I think this is a good kit and will be installing them on my 20' F250.

Can you tell me about that blank panel where you mounted the switches? At the 3:00 mark you briefly showed the tiny cubby that was there before this install. I need that bank piece to install my switches into… where did you find that? Thanks!

You should look into xlt seats. I don’t have any back support issues with mine and I’m pretty sure they’re plug & play

I would love to just throw in some lariat or platinum seats! Iim sure you know, even the ext seats on the used market cost thousands. I would have to do the front and rear row to make everything match. I bet it would be 4-5 grand for my 2020 for cloth.

@@OldSoulMillennial I’m fairly sure the 150 seats are the same as super duty seats but for whatever reason they’re cheaper. Still not cheap. They’re also a higher end seat function wise. I’m trying to find two front seats for my 250 crew cab. Katskin has a crew cab set of covers with heaters for around $900. That might be your best bet. Upgrade the fronts and recover everything

Do you know if this voids any warranty’s? I’m looking at a 22 SD CCSB without heated seats, every other option is exactly what I’m looking for but no heated seats. It’s an XLT with cloth. I would do this if it doesn’t void anything

What about back seats? Can this be done with the same items? For a dodge ram quad 2003 but well be installing 4th Gen seats front and back.

That link doesn't work anymore to the heat kit. Is it still available?

That’s a good install but quite involved . However I just wouldn’t trust a aftermarket heating / electrical heating unit manufactured in China in my 2021 F-350. I wish you luck with it.

Its a very involved job. Took about a whole day, but was totally worth it. I use these heated seats daily and it just so much more comfortable to drive on cold days. I do understand your concern, but this isn't 120 or 240 vac. We are dealing with 12dc current not drawing many amps. Each Harness has its own inline 10A fuse. If there was a short, one of those 10A fuses would blow. Also as mention in the video, I wired up my seats to an up fitter switch with its own fuse. So the power that feeds the seats travels through 2 fuses prior to arriving at the elements. I can always flip that up fitter switch off if there was a problem, but I dont expect it. Unfortunately approximately 70% of the electronics in our homes are made in china. Just some thing we have to live with. Most all of those items are UL listed though. Or so they claim. Im not sure if 12v dc items have to be listed, but it would have made me feel a bit more comfortable if there was a UL or CE certification rating on this product. Still, no regrets and I will update if there is ever any problems.
