Wende Melese Sorry we don't build the city that is already there. We build rural villages where people actually NEED the development. We don't build to please foreign nations. I don't care who they are built by. i care who they are owned by. Before that was there there was a huge city of medri bahri. Yes i know you will forever hate us but we can't help your feelings. hawie55 And that's why most Eritreans are fleeing from their country every day to Ethiopian refugee camps. Out of 6.5 million Eritrean people 10% of the population leaves Eritrea Every year. Is that Development? yes, you are developing/escalating the number of refugee every year. I read that the number of Italian population in Asmara was 70,000. That means the city was built considering only that Italian population. So, didn't the population of Asmara increase? Are you sure the Italian built Asmara Enough for the population??? By the way the population of Addis Ababa city has exceeded the whole population of Eritrea. Therefore, a city shall be widened and built every time. I made a mistake, population of Asmara is decreasing. So you shall demolish some Italian Buildings. By the way most of the Italians buildings in Ethiopia are being demolished to be replaced by modern high rise buildings. Not only Addis Ababa, see the cities of Adama(Nazreth), Bahir Dar, Mekelle, Axum, Hawassa, Dire dawa, Gondar and so much more. Growing in an astonishing rate. With 90 million population Ethiopian GDP(PPP) per capita is twice that of Eritrea. By the way Sheik Al Amoudi is an Ethiopian investor from Woldia, Ethiopia. He is investing in Ethiopia to help his country grow up fast. And foreign investment plays great role in development of a country. USA has reached this peak economy from foreign investment. When investors do business in your country, people get employed. So unemployment rate can be reduced this way, plus the country benefits much. So, not allowing foreign investors is foolish. Plus sheik al Amoudi has great investment in Sweden. So is an European wealthy nation Sweden fool. Any way think more and say something.

(that is what you would say). You guys love to say you beat the turks or fought that empire but it was actually Eritreans (Ethiopians then) that fought them face to face. Ya so what you are saying is comedy., you left out the most important part :p Ethiopia is in MASSIVE debt. Just like its best friend and master united states 14billion and counting.. Eritrea has no debt and all 0 interest loans from honest brokers. You can sprinkle your story with sugar all you like. But if someone is just throwing around money they don't have on a credit card with ridiculous interest. i HOPE they are building something. About the Italian architecture its not even like i like it or anything(or that i don't agree with you on some lvls or principle). But it will serve its purpose for the time being. I'm not gonna bulldoze a perfectly fine structure that my people can use because i feel angry or anything. Eritrean are wiser than that. When we have overflowing capital maybe then getting rid of them can come up as a topic. But even then they have there uses in drawing in tourists that wish to romanticize this page of history. Its ok they can do so., as long as they leave there eruo and dollars in adei.
