For anybody interested, look up the piece sac line as black against the ponziani. One of the refutations of the line that, unless you know perfect theory for A LOT of moves, gives a significant advantage to black.

Nxe5 It's a poisonous pawn, you end up losing queen by force in this position if you grab it (Could be wrong and missing something tbh, but it looks bad to me, but then again this entire position looks pretty rough to play as black lol, so many pieces bearing down on king)

Black king defends g7, so yes the queen "could" take it, but at the cost of her own life in sacrifice, certainly not a worthy trade without an extremely strong (preferably checkmating) follow up, which there isn't in that position (unlike later where sacrificing queen on h6 results in a checkmate tactic).
