....the cure WISHES they could have done with boys don't cry what you did here tho, i adore the realness and insight of your lyrics so much. i feel like there's a common way in which songwriters include real life, raw statements that (in my opinion) tends to come off as clumsy and just, not really blending all that well with the rest of the songs. but you always do it so well, and the messages and their emotions are always delivered so openly and with such fine impact... ugh, your music is just enchanting. thank you so much for sharing, happy week to you 💙💕

Idk why people think boys can't express sadness if they want to . If you want to cry just cry don't listen to those people who say boys shouldn't cry . You don't need to act tough all the time you are human too BTW this is from a girl and i already added this song to my playlist .

This seriously reminds me of my dad... He always said to never cry, and if he saw my brother, including me crying, he would make fun of us... Calling us weak... And I've never seen my dad cry before. Though I remember seeing a video of my dad actually trying to be a good father... In the video, I remember him saying "I see you" with real emotion in his voice... Now I want to ask him one thing. "Dad... Can you still see us?"

I really enjoyed this one, like all the others, haha. I wish I got up earlier to see your post. Happy Mental Health Awareness Month to you, too. (I typed a lot this time :o) Edit: I also realized that the faces on the walls are all happy and looking at him; not even one of them is sad. Rosendale is the only one who's sad. Does that mean that the faces are how people think boys need act?

In the quaint town of Furrville, nestled amid verdant hills, two brothers - Choco and Roco - lived. Both were bears and had fur as soft as satin; Choco’s a rich brown and Roco’s a frosted gray. They were as different as their fur colors. Choco, the older one, was as sturdy and tough as the oak trees dotting the town, while Roco, younger by two years, was sensitive and gentle like the surrounding cherry blossoms. One sunny afternoon, Roco stumbled into their small wooden home, his fur disheveled, his eyes teary. He had fallen from his bike, fur matted with dirt and blood, painting a painful picture. "Choco," he whimpered, his voice tremulous, "what do I do? It hurts!" Choco, ever the stoic, told him, "Bite your tongue, Roco, and hold your breath. Close your eyes and count to ten. Boys don’t cry. You’re a tough guy." Roco, a ball of unshed tears and suppressed pain, adopted this silence. When he felt bad, he'd hold it in until he erupted in unexpected ways. His closest friends, the squirrel twins, would often be on the receiving end of his outbursts. "I wish you spoke the truth, Choco," Roco mumbled one day, staring at the rising moon, "I wish you taught me how to love myself. I wish you knew that boys, boys like us, feel sad too." Life rolled on in Furrville, and the brothers grew older. Roco transitioned to high school, where he encountered a new set of problems - bullies. The fox trio, notorious for their cruelty, had made him their new target. "Choco," Roco whimpered one day, a fresh set of tears welled up in his eyes, "the bullies took my money and stole my shoes. What do I do?" "Fight them back, Roco," Choco instructed, his own troubles from the past reflecting in his gaze. "Boys don’t show weakness." And so Roco fought, fought until he was spent. The sweet, gentle cub turned into an angry young bear. His relationships strained as his sadness morphed into a fiery anger that pushed everyone away. Time passed, and the brothers drifted apart, tangled in their own trials. One day, after several years, they met again. Choco, with his sunken eyes and greyed fur, was a stark contrast to the lively bear Roco remembered. His wife had left, taking their cubs with her, unable to handle his temper. "Choco," Roco sighed, "we didn't turn out the way we wanted to, did we?" "No, Roco," Choco admitted, his voice shaky for the first time, "We didn’t. But it’s time to break the cycle." And so, the brothers embarked on their journey of healing, each recognizing and accepting their emotions, and teaching themselves to love the cubs they were and the bears they had become. They reached out to their old friends, to the squirrel twins, the fox trio, and many more, sharing the lessons they had learned. "Boys feel sad too," they would say, their voices echoing throughout Furrville, "and it’s okay to express it." Their journey wasn’t easy, but the town slowly started to change. Little by little, Furrville became a place where everyone, no matter how big or small, tough or soft, felt safe to express their feelings. The brothers' message resonated - boys, boys feel sad too. It was a truth now openly recognized and respected, shaping Furrville into a place of understanding, love, and acceptance.

When a girl is sad everyone’s like “ OMG R U OK??” And when a boy is sad or depressed people are like “suck it up” Come on world stop being so sexist And this is coming from a girl It’s gotta stop, support everyone no matter what gender, race, or sexuality 💖 Have a good day/afternoon/night 😊
