Every song seems to tease out a memory from me. This one reminds me of a friend I made when I was 12 years old. She was... an oddball. But she loved me genuinely. And I threw it all away to associate with the wrong crowd. At 15, I started smoking, drinking, and indulging in things I shouldn't have. All in the pursuit to fit in with them. When that fell apart, she still welcomed me back with open arms. Even though she shouldn't have, after what I did to her. How I left her at the first chance I got. We're 20 now, and still close. She picks me up when I'm down, and I do the same for her. We're inseparable, but... I still feel all the guilt for my actions in the past. I almost lost an incredible person, that I love with all my heart.
