Oh, now the Christmas spirit is upon me. What a lovely video. Your mom is beautiful and you do resemble her. Max is so big. Remember, I've missed seeing him all summer. I love watching happy babies grow up! Thank you for a wonderful trip to a very special castle. Hugs to all of you.

What a fab video Maria. You are the spitting image of your mother. It was delightful to see Morton, your mom and Max waltzing together. This is what I call the quality of life. The castle is charming. In Denmark you start early with your Christmas markets. Here in Switzerland they only begin on 24 November. Max is a great kid and full of life. Lovely to hear him having his say. Greetings from Zurich.

+Bunny Rabbit yes that was so cute, Max loves dancing around to music😍💃 I don’t know why they are so early, maybe just to spread them out a bit☃️ glad you liked it, and you think I look like my mom😍

It was so much fun to see your mother and Morton dancing. You do look very much like her. You must have had such a wonderful time watching Max's eyes light up as he saw all the different people and things. The girl that was doing those beautiful drawings looked like she was a young teenager. She was doing amazing work. The castle and grounds are so neat and well maintained.

He is so curious, so keeping him away from items was a challenge ha ha:) She looked kind of young, I agree, but there are actually quite a few 20'ies and 30'ies women doing illustrations ect in DK and they all have their own distinct style.. I'm a big fan of small businesses like that:)

I am in total agreement about supporting small businesses. I try to spend my money with them especially if I am traveling.

Wow - that is such a BIG Christmas market! What a delicious variety of things. But no - I have never seen that sort of candy that was on the little elk... Great to see little Max walking like a big guy. And your Mom! You definitely have resemblance in your looks - but perhaps even more in your manner of moving and speaking. It's wonderful she's able to spend time with you guys and her little grandchild. (My own is the other side of America from me, and I don't get up be with her that much - so I'm a little envious of your mom...!) The pancakes look so good! 😄💝

One Girl One Suitcase (Maria Storgaard) that looked amazing! A great way to enjoy the season. And yes-you resembled your mother very much! The candy is not anything I’ve ever seen, but I’m trying to find a local Christmas market here in Minnesota. I just moved this summer and there is a lot of Danish, German, and Norwegian ancestry here. Looks like a fun day. History, Christmas, outdoors, and a 500 year tradition? I think it lived up to the hype!

This was beautiful! I love the Castle and Christmas so it's like a double gift! haha My question for the Q&A is what would Max have to know, think, feel or be capable of as an adult for you and Morton to feel like you were successful parents?

You do Christmas a lot better than we do in the UK, we tend to have tacky flashing lights more like a fair ground or soho ! with pop Christmas tunes over and over again ...
@Onegirlonesuitcase7 жыл бұрын
Ha ha, come to Denmark next December then:) But we probably also have some of the more tacky ones:)

Oh hardly ever snow in Denmark, most likely in February.. but mostly just rain, gray and cold during November, December and January:/ ha ha can you tell these are not my favorit months weather wise ha ha:)

I know you said Max was getting fussy with some food issues, have they cleared up or gotten better?
@Onegirlonesuitcase7 жыл бұрын
In general he LOVES all foods, if he's teething or not feeling super his appetite drops or he just throws it.. we have tried and tried but trowing still seems to be his favorit way of saying no:/
@katiethomas58897 жыл бұрын
OMG My daughter, Natalie who is 18 months does the same thing! I advise to only give him small amounts of food to eat, until he is done. We have Natalie say "More" if she wants more. That helps a little!

That candy looks like it's English licorice. They have it in Holland too and it is very delicious. It's black slices of licorice sandwiched between colorful, sweet layers. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liquorice_allsorts
@Onegirlonesuitcase7 жыл бұрын
Exactly, so it's at least northern european:).. it's always interesting to see if something you think is typical Danish actually is or you just think so ha ha:)
