Rosenkreuzstilette - The Mechanical Abomination (Palace I)

A video of me, ahem, crawling thought the gravity defying Iris Palace I, The Golden Palace.
RKS is a the death dream of Zero as he recounts his story (or X's) from the perspective of a blonde witch. No, really. I heard it from someone who knew someone.
Anyways, let's keep this short. Iris Palace I, which I didn't mentioned fully in the title in order to keep the misguided notion of spoiler-free title in the internet era, is a little more interesting that the stages we've seen. Iris Palace two first stages feel like they are a proof of concept for Freudenstachel. Having gimmicks in stage is not a bad idea. As with everything, if done correctly it can spice things up and make the stage unique from the others.
In this stage, that gimmick would be the gravity defying waters and the elecmines (fan-name). These little buggers electrify the water previously mentioned water with the expected result. All in all, except for some low risk tricky invisible blocks and a hard-ish to get Cross Tanks, the stage is pretty easy.
The boss of the stage is the Bosspider, which is the aforementioned mechanical abomination. The Bosspider is based on, wait for it, the Bospider from Mega Man X. The attack pattern consist on the spider descending on top of you, following the path of its mechanical web. If it encounters a left or right, it will take it and continue down. If you've created a respectable repertoire of games with puzzles, chances are you've seen this gimmick before. Rinse and repeat, each time faster. Between each rinse and repeat, the spider might do one of two things: stop the elevators and send spikes from the side (slide below them), or summon Ants (kill them). The Bosspider is weak to Freudenstachel, so if you want to make a quick work of it, aim for the weak point and fire away.

So many different parts from so many different games made into one level! Though about what you said in the description about this being Zero telling thing to X, the electrified water was in Mega Man XTreme 2. In an X-Only Stage.
