I've been having one of the most stressful weeks I've had in recent memory. It's one of those times where EVERYTHING seems to go wrong and life just bogs you down, you know? People who you want to stay leave your life; on top of that, you make mistakes in your day-to-day, your internal anxieties grow, external pressures come down on you from all sides... And suddenly you're pushed to the breaking point. That's me. That's where I'm at... I've felt like crying most of the day. All that said, I happened to be on youtube at the same time this was uploaded. It being a Rosentwig upload, how could I not click? In the first 10 seconds I was _completely_ soaked up in the ambience. The image of a coast and a gently waning tide stirred in my imagination... Laying there on the soft sand next to my soon-to-be-wife, all the worries of life gone. Just me and her. No hurt, no pain, just the breeze around us. As far as I can see out on the horizon is as deep as my relaxation feels. As the song came to a close and I came to from my lovely little daydream, I realized for the first time this week my mind had completely cleared and I was smiling. Sure, my problems aren't magically fixed. They're still there, but... I'm okay. I feel like it's the first time this week I've been able to say, "I'll figure this out. This period of time, this season of life, it's finite. It won't be the end of me." Your music really helped someone who was hurting today. I very much plan on going to a real beach to listen to this one day :) All the best with your upcoming album release, Rosentwig! Thank you so much for creating such beautiful art.
