I love your new fabrics.I made a Paola jacket and I really love it. It is a free pattern from Fabrics-store. The only change I made was the pocket. It was not easy to do the pocket that they suggested with denim. So I changed it to a rectangular pocket and I am really happy about it. Thank you for you video!

I adore Broderie Anglaise and buy up whatever I can find in op shops. The black, floral quilted cotton reminds me of a favourite dress I had in the 70s. I was hoping you'd say you had a skirt planned for the gingham linen! It's such beautiful fabric and will look fabulous as a contrast lining for your jacket. The pink cardigan looks gorgeous in the pom pom stitch but the second pattern is lovely too. I popped into Spotlight yesterday primarily to top up on haberdashery but spotted some fabric I think I'll return for today to take advantage of the end of bolt special they have on at the moment. Like you, I am thrilled that Autumn is (almost) officially here. It's my favourite time of the year too. I really must visit Tassie in Autumn soon. I usually visit in late Summer. Happy sewing!

The sage green shirred fabric is possibly best for a skirt. Wear a smooth top tucked in. And a side belt. I would not attempt anything except a separate with a fabric so puffy. Because ... you know... every silhouette needs to avoid the “Michelin Man” look! ;)
