Where it's been stated that the angels will sound the trumpets before the Lord comes again, it's not the metal trumpet, but the shofar that will sound. Our Messiah after all was a Jew, so it makes sense that the shofar will sound. I love that!

It's Rosh Hashanah head of the year or yom teruah feast of trumpets. You may look at it in Leviticus 23. It is observed every 1st day of the 7th month of the Jewish calendar. The month they call Tishri. They do no work. They gather together. A sacred assembly. They offer those prescribed sacrifices and they blow their horns.
