"So carefree and upbeat"...um, how about "totally high on something"? Even if I didn't know it was Whitney Houston I would think this person is on drugs. It's a different type of energy. It’s just strange to me. I know people want to believe the first thing they hear. However, a lot of people including Whitney’s family and ex family thinks that it’s more to the story. The stories keep changing up. Something just doesn’t feel right about it. When Chaka came out a few days later after Whitney died and said that her manager once told her that "she was worth more dead than alive”. I knew this was demonic. That’s why I’m saying do your research. The media can play you any type of way. You have to use your own mind, consciousness, and discernment in situations like this.

I miss Rosie on tv. The Rosie ODonnell Show was my childhood. 💙💙😭🙏 I also miss Whitney Houston. Its sad watching this and thinking about the traumas she endured in life that went untreated and how she turned to drugs for coping and escape. What a special talent she was and what a tragedy that drugs pulled her into a painful and tragic years long death spiral... and took her little girl with her. Whitney was sexually abused in her childhood and went through those things at a time when no one talked about it and zero help/support/healing was available. Then she was forced to endure the pain, stigma and trauma of knowing she was bisexual and having to hide that about herself because bisexuality/homosexuality would not be accepted by society and that the revelation of such an innocent thing and a huge part of who she was could ruin her career. And then... we in society all made fun of, ridiculed, mocked and condemned and judged her when she became and drug addict. 😞 Even though I was just a kid back then, I feel terrible about this looking back and I hope all of us take some time and put it into honest reflection about the ways which these factors influenced her demise and how we can and should require ourselves, others and society as a whole do better in the future-both in regard to affirming and accepting the spectrum of identities and sexualities of consenting adults - as well as in how we approach CSA (child sexual abuse), that we resolve to intervene, to investigate and protect, that prioritize and protect trauma survivors and support them in healing and lastly in how we approach issues of drug use and addiction.
