When you are having a mooch around the charity shop it is sometimes nice to pick up some cheap plain glass vases and giving them as a present with the flowers already in a vase, you can still wrap your paper round the vase.

Hi Rosie, the little flowers are called alstromeria they are from the lily family, they last along time too, the berries are called Hypericum, a tip for you when making your bouquets, strip all the stems of their leaves that will be in the water, the leaves cause bacteria and make your flowers die faster, also if you don't have any of the flower food sachets, you can put a tiny drop of cheap household thin bleach in the water to kill germs and either a little bit of sugar or lemonade to feed them. I used to work in a florists many moons ago. where I live now we don't have a flower wholesalers near me, even silk flowers are hard to get, and the ones in Dunelm are just ridiculously priced. I buy a lot of the internet, I'm busy making flower arrangements in fancy decorated cardboard teapots and other flower boxes ready for valentines, Easter, mothers day and Birthdays. I love crafting.

Alstroemerias also known as Peruvian Lily is the plant you were asking about Rosie, they come in a number of different colours. Also the ‘thistle’ type flowers are called Eryngium & they come in various sizes & colours of white, blues & mauves. The berry clusters are called Hypericum & the good news is that all of these can actually be grown in your garden here in the UK. Your bouquets looked lovely 😍, I’m sure the lucky recipients will love them.🥰 xx 💕💞💖💝

The everything is £1 charity shop is st Helena's hospice in great clacton. So I have to drive 20 mins to get to most but worth the odd trip ♥️

Lovely, a way to make sure the roses will last is to "condition" them by removing all the leaves except for the top two or three, and remove any leaves that might be low enough to sit in the vase water because leaves sort of poison the water. Compliments from a florist!xo

Yellowstone is brilliant. There are also 2 more series about their ancestors. The first one is called 1883 which has 1 series and the second is called 1923 which has 1 series with a second series coming at the end of this month. I have also watched The Affair and This Is Us. Enjoy

Watched it all! Now waiting for 1923 pt2 and possible Rip & Beth spin off🤞 Brilliant series. Really loved 1883...had a few tears (won't do a spoiler!!). Kevin Costner. What can l say? Worth watching just for him (l'm old, so you can forgive me!😉). Or RIP. Casey's a bit too young, think my own son's bit older than him. But the 'star' for me is the Montana backdrop...awesome. Almost makes me wish l could ride a horse!

Rosie, If you have an i phone take a photo of a flower, and when you go into see the photo down at the bottom there is little symbols at the bottom and if you click on the little I icon it should bring up look up plant and you should get the name of the flower
