That well known songwriting partnership of Beatles - John Lennon. Great late era Ed.

And I think the song was written primarily by McCartney.

@@zefallafez The song was probably 100% written by Paul McCartney. In interviews, John Lennon was pretty quick to disclaim any authorship of this one.

This song was 100% written by Paul McCartney.. What's old Ed on about calling it a John Lennon song? 😂

I had a music theory teacher who used to walk up on a little hill and play this on his trumpet or some other brass axe, just for fun.

Come on people you just know she's Barbra's sister. Reading Barbra's biography at the moment - you can tell they got the performance and voice from their mother!

With good original writing and a Billie May type orchestra, she would have been huge.

She probably had to really focus to differentiate her voice from her older sisters. When she sings naturally she is a dead ringer for Barbra and could easily imitate her and no one would be able to tell the difference. In the scheme of things, this probably hurt her career more than helped it.

Don't exagerate, she's a pale imitation of her Sister.she has not the " magic" unique tone and phrasé of barbra...not a bit...neither the personality and the sense of style.

Every time I hear her, I wish she were singing a different song, something more tailored for her. She clearly has a good voice but maybe she didn’t work with the right people.

Singers starting out need guidance from other good musicians. It can make all the difference. Her voice is wonderful. Strange song choice and some unflattering riffs.
