The Lancia Delta Group A is a Group A rally car built for the Martini Lancia by Lancia to compete in the World Rally Championship. It is based upon the Lancia Delta road car and replaced the Lancia Delta S4. The car was introduced for the 1987 World Rally Championship season and dominated the World Rally Championship, scoring 46 WRC victories overall and winning the constructors' championship a record six times in a row from 1987 to 1992, in addition to drivers' championship titles for Juha Kankkunen (1987 and 1991) and Miki Biasion (1988 and 1989).
During the early 1980s the top level of rallying was dominated by the Group B formula, for which Lancia produced the rear-drive 037 and then, when that became obsolete, the Delta S4. The entire formula was abolished at the end of the 1986 season, however, after a string of fatal accidents, leaving Group A as the top formula for the 1987 and subsequent seasons. カンピオナートムンドラリー2016

Après l'arrêt de la 205 T16 (la meilleur voiture de l'histoire du groupe B, même si le fait qu'elle soit française rend aveugles et ignorants les fans de caisses americano-germaniques) la Lancia Delta integrale HF a magnifiquement repris le flambeau. Elle est belle, puissante, vive, dangereuse juste ce qu'il faut, enfin bref c'est une merveille.

its so damn sad to see Lancia die.. in my opinion FIAT did it wrong. Lancia shouldn't be a luxury brand. i think it could be like seat maybe? the last lancias were too expensive, only bad badge engineering and boring. not to compare with the old ones, as the integrale or stratos. lets hope that fiat will be able to bring Lancia back..

Su decisione dei vertici della Fiat nel 1991 dopo la sesta vittoria del campionato rally . Fu l inizio della fine della ingegneria automobilistica dell'Italia. Poi nel 1992 la conferma del piano per distruggere il comparto italiano industriale con la svendita e spacchettamento delle aziende di Stato , ( I R I) magneti marelli era una di esse . Quel piano ordito dai poteri forti Europei e internazionali affinché non avessero concorrenti contro i loro marchi internazionali. Difficile da credere ma se hai tempo puoi trovare in rete varie informazioni su come l Italia e stata boicottata principalmente da Inghilterra,Francia,Germania E tutto ebbe inizio sul panfilo del britannia nel 1992 . A Fiat felső vezetése 1991-ben döntött a rally bajnokság hatodik győzelme után. Ez volt az olasz autóipar végének kezdete. Aztán 1992-ben megerősítették az olasz ipari szektor megsemmisítésének tervét állami vállalatok eladásával és kicsomagolásával (I R I) a magneti marelli volt az egyik. Ezt a tervet az erős európai és nemzetközi hatalom keltette fel, hogy ne legyenek versenytársaik a nemzetközi márkákkal szemben. @@catalanomilo su quel panfilo hanno sancito la fine della nostra nazione verso la quale stiamo inesorabilmente marciando a tutto gas. Circa l'abbandono dei rally da parte della Lancia l'Ing Limone ha detto bene; dopo 6 titoli mondiali la Lancia poteva solo più vincere (cosa non più semplice visti i miglioramenti della concorrenza e l'obsolescenza del progetto Delta) e per farlo avrebbe dovuto iniziare un progetto nuovo col rischio oggettivo di non riuscire più a vincere. Purtroppo le vittorie in campo rallistico non avevano più un ritorno di immagine che giustificasse gli investimenti di miliardi da fare, per cui hanno spostato tutto sul turismo dove l'Alfa Romeo, con una delta travestita, ha effettivamente vinto e guadagnato in termini pubblicitari. A mio parere la scelta è stata azzeccata pur restando la tristezza di vedere la Lancia abbandonare il mio sport preferito.
