This piece is either based off of an early childhood memory or a dream, but I can't remember which. We are in a small enclosed space, with a single window. There is a splintering wind pushing against the wooden walls. Golden sunlight filters through the leaves of the surrounding oak trees. Gradually, the wind and the light disintegrate the shelter and we're left suspended in pure space... Okay, that last bit was definitely a dream.
To try and capture this aesthetic, I recorded: wood creaking, wind through trees, wind through grass, fire, the Pacific ocean, double bass harmonics and glissandi (thanks Ilya!), lots and lots of train brakes, a thunderstorm, a kitchen chair being dragged across the floor, my stovetop kettle and a bunch of other things.
The videos were recorded and edited by me, using a Canon G7X, Premiere, and After Effects.
This track is free to use and monetize. No need to get permission. Just credit me (link my channel or video, or simply mention my name).

Well in my opinion, if sound, organized in time, creates atmosphere and emotional impressions, then it IS music. Music is not defined by any specific practice of harmony or structure. However, I'm glad you managed to get something out of this track, even if it wasn't really your thing. I appreciate that open mindedness :)

I usually dont comment .... okay I dont comment at all but this (its really hard to describe for me as an non native speaker) composition, altho its more than that, really gave me to think, really made me reflect on some things related to my work (as an Hobby Animator). I have always tried to push my limit with every animation, make it more Beautiful, more Flashy, more detailed, more and more. But i never was quite happy with it, it seemed like it was never good enough. Which brought me to the point where i really struggled to find a reason for continuing with my work. But this track made me sit back and examine everything. It brought me to the conclusion that there is in fact something more valueable than just a fancy moving image, even when its connected to a good story. I thought about that awesome feeling when you are doing the animatics with some keyframes and you can finally see where the animation will be going, how its gonna look like. Althou the animation isnt finished, it still lives, it moves and it gives me grin over two ears, more then the final product could ever do, not because the endproduct looks worse, but because I enjoy the process more than the finished Product. I never really realized that until now and I am very happy because of it. I know quite a lot of people that animate and dont enjoy the process, only doing it for the finished product and thanks to your awesome music I am not one of them.
