I hate shopping at Ross, I stopped going , you can’t try shoes on because of all the theft alarms on them. I just stick to Marshalls as nd TJMaxx

And at the Ross where I’m at the security guard not only checks your receipt before you walk out, and have you open your bag so he can look inside. My co-worker had told me they were doing it over where she stays but I didn’t know it was a thing at the majority of the Ross stores now.

@ nobody has checked my receipts there yet but the checkout is literally right up front by the door , it’s just so many things that takes the fun out of shopping there. It’s so unbelievably messy, not much to see most of the time , a lot of the stuff is damaged and then what I already mentioned about the trying on the shoes is impossible with the alarm tags 🤷🏻‍♀️ shopping is supposed to be enjoyable

I saw a man walk out with a cart filled with pricey stuff and the staff just watched while he walked out and nobody stopped him even the guard, just watched. Wow

I will say, though, even though I don’t go there hardly ever. I will go in for household stuff once in a while, found a few good items for the home. 👍🏻🥰♥️ as far as clothes, shoes and bags. It’s a no for me. But somebody else’s Ross location might be better than mine in that department

I really don't like Ross anymore. They try to force you to show your receipt before they will take the security tags off your items. People don't know that legally you do not HAVE to do that. I waved and walked out. When the alarm went off, a lady came and took the security tag off. She asked for my receipt and I declined. The only time you can be legally detained is if you have shoplifted and they have you on camera or have a witness. I will exercise my freedom as long as I can. Perhaps you should consider doing the same. (This is not legal advice. Do your own research.)
