I have been shopping my closet. Getting rid of clothing that I never wear. To my surprise I had one huge pile. Buying on impulse trying to keep up with the latest trends was exhausting! I bought a replica YSL in *suluxy* and the quality is superior, have no issues with bag after 1,5 years. My friend bought YSL bag in YSl store, after 9 month she went back to report that handle is broken. Other friend has issues with LV backpack, bracelet and belt. months of waiting for repair and listening complains that she wore it wrong. I made my decision about high brands. Not worth it

My favorite designer is Ralph Lauren. His styles are so classic and he always features the preppy look. In my opinion when his luxury line is featured on the runway, he stays true to classic styling with some edge and they are wearable unlike some of the more artistic styles shown by other designers that most people wouldn't wear. White and ecru jeans will probably always be in style. Thanks for the video.

I completely agree. RL hits all of these 2025 trends! Mixing athletic , suede, white/ecru jeans, lady like jackets, boho, off shoulder tops and dresses, cardigans, straight leg jeans, loafers, even the sheer touches. RL has done it all and it never goes out of fashion.

I hate to say how much Ralph I own, I’m into sustainability in clothing, buy a lot from eBay. The dumps are full of stuff that no one wants. Classic, beautifully cut jackets, menswear shirts. Women stop me to tell me how they like my style. Michael Kors and Calvin do some styles that stand the test of time too.

I’ve always been a trendsetter and never followed the crowd because if something doesn’t look good on me, I don’t care how it is. I’m not wearing it. Everything I wear looks good on me. I have a style that flatters me and I get people telling me you’ve got such a vibe because I know how to put things together from everywhere. I guess I’m lucky thank you for this video. I think I'll stick to my assortment of jeans, men's wool blazers, cashmere sweaters, and my assortment of jewelry I like, and not be dictated to by anyone. I made the mistake a LONG time ago of listening to a friend of mine's "fashion advice" who suggested I spend a ton of money and wear a sheer shirt and a boho skirt to work one day. I felt SO self-conscious all day and never wore either piece ever again. Button-down shirts, jeans, blazers, loafers, all in natural / nubby fabrics, throw in some "trending" colors like burgundy socks and glasses frames and maybe try a different silhouette of men's jeans -- that's all the fashion I need.

I'm a white jeans lover and will be looking for a new replacement pair this spring so I am happy to hear this. I remember getting my first pair of white jeans in 1978 at the age of 13. My friends and I all had white jeans. Oh, how I loved those jeans! I have had many pairs over the years and wear them whether they are in or not. To me, white jeans are a summer classic and a must have for my summer wardrobe.

The consensus here seems to be that barrel legged jeans are ugly; but as a fellow hourglass shape, I bought a pair on Amazon and they are flattering on me. They are a bit cropped and not exaggerated, shape-wise - and they were not at all expensive. I'm actually wearing them now with black sneakers and no socks.

Do it! I find barrel jeans to be flattering on almost all figures. The trick, IMO, is to size up so that they sit down on your hips, and buy them longer (I'm 5'2" but buy regular length instead of short). You can cuff them if necessary. Wearing them a bit lower and a bit longer makes them drape really nicely.

I'm with all those who hate the barrel leg. Never wearing them. Also with those who are shopping their closets. I have a comprehensive wardrobe based on good-quality classics and if I add anything it will be through thrift store shopping or one very inexpensive trendy item off Amazon. Shopping where I live is limited and I no longer find clothes shopping and trying on fun. It's just a chore. Still love fashion but don't want to spend much on it, have other things I'd much rather spend my money on, and I'm rather bored. I've now lived through so many resurrections of styles that very little seems new, fresh and interesting.

Hate barrel jeans.. They make you look so huge!! 😂 Had a boxy cardigan this fall and just didn’t care for it..They make you look large too! Also, I must be ahead in fashion.. I’ve been wearing white jeans the last 2 seasons and winter white/off white is my favorite pant to wear during December and January with pastel sweaters and tops. I just love your outfit today. I have a belt like that that I bought I think in the early 90s some of the things I’ve had since the 80s because I am 69 years old now and I’ve saved a lot of my accessories that are in again. I have a scarf that’s leopard print that I had in the 80s When you’re my age you don’t really need to buy clothes anymore if you have a basic capsule wardrobe and that’s what I have. I’m actually a slim person with thick legs and oh, how unflattering those skinny legs jeans were on me. Sausage calves! I don’t mind exposing my legs but compression just looked bad. Plus,unless they had super stretch, my legs literally couldn’t fit into them. So happy wide legged jeans came back in.

Something we need to do more of is alterations. I had found a jumper I loved but it was too long.. I had it altered for $15 and now it fits perfectly !! If you try something on, jeans that are too long for example, buy them and get them hemmed!

I love them, too! The trick, IMO, is to size up so that they sit down on your hips, and buy them longer (I'm 5'2" but buy regular length instead of short). You can cuff them if necessary. Wearing them a bit lower and a bit longer makes them drape really nicely.
