Ross is the funniest Friend character idc what anyone says. A lot of people take this show too seriously and need to be reminded that it's a COMEDY. Ross goes viral all the time for people hating him but if you look up comedy reels of Friends it 85% Ross scenes.

Especially the mid to later seasons. Ross steals the show. They calm Chandlers character down a lot and Ross almost takes over as the funniest

English is my second language and when I watched this episode I had never heard the word blimp before. It sounded so absurd that I just assumed it was a made up nonsense word and didn't look it up. Took me years after that to learn what it is.

I just have to point out that Mike had a second chance to say he'd at least *maybe* consider marriage in future, and he chose again to give up Phoebe instead. Mike is Phoebe's Richard. Mike and Richard both knew the one thing they could do to continue a relationship with the women they supposedly love, but repeatedly refused. It's of note, Richard only changes his mind after he sees Monica in a happy relationship with Chandler. It's the old thing of just wanting someone after they have someone else and move on... that's not love' its possessiveness.

Mike had a valid reason, Richard didn't really care one way or the other because he has already had a long marriage plus kids, David chose his career. So out of all 3 Mike is the only one with valid reasons to not get married again. Mature adults know they need to let go of their loved one if what they want are completely different things. Marriage is one such dealbreaker so both were mature to go their separate ways (for now). Phoebe would be miserable in the end and feeling she has wasted her time with him when she could find someone else that does want the same thing. They both did each other a favour so Mike is the only honest guy out of those three.

No, Richard said he WAS willing to have a child. Monica still broke up with him because she wanted her eventual child to be loved and wanted by BOTH its parents, not someone the father viewed as a compromise.

I was a birthworker and midwife for 30+ years, mostly in people's homes and birth centers. More people had or brought their stuffed animals than did not have or bring one, using them to clutch while in labor... not for the new baby. Women AND men. I always find it interesting when a common experience is completely missed by others who think that experience is absurd. Love your Reactions, but had to correct you on this one.

I loved Facebook... on 2001, when I was not even 16, I left home (like everyone in the South of Graubunden in Switzerland does. You leave the Italian part for the German part for school or apprenticeship) and I was happy that a few years later I could contact for free my family and my friends (who also had to leave) from the boarding school computers, not only per telephone (not smartphones, just expensive cell phones, calls and sms costed a lot, too). And also for free: you could see fotos and what they were up to. It was an important medium, at least for us who were spread everywhere and other social media was not there, and messaging services were missing, apart from the MSN Messenger

I actually really dislike this episode. Ross’ emergence was really stupid. Chandler was meh. Joey’s confession of stealing Hugsy from a baby was borderline character assassination. Honestly, Phoebe and Monica were the only part of this one that I liked.
