Gunther doesn't just bring credibility to the title... He brings credibility to the sport. Those of us who were alive to watch wrestling in the 20th century cringe when we watch this modern style of overly-choreographed spots where guys slowly and methodically and *obviously* help each other through increasingly complicated maneuvers that look FAKE. Nothing Gunther does looks fake. It's nice to be reminded of a time when wrestling didn't look like a cheerleading routine with 6 person matches and everyone has to build the pyramid at the turnbuckle to do a superplex-powerbomb-electric chair to pop the mark audience who over-payed for their ticket to the PPV/PLE.

His promos didn't make sense, he talked forever without actually saying anything, and his matches were just not good. seth vs drew, drew wins and Priest cashes in steals the title, that will tide us over till drew will win the belt from priest and cm punk returns. afterwards JD implodes. or priest fails his cash-in, rhea loses and judgement day slowly implodes, at that point rhea and dom turn face. Just not sure where Gunther will fit in, maybe he retains until Ilja takes the title from him. we are gonna have some good wrestling in the future.
